Hi! This is a Daniil Chuprin's website.

Briefly about me

I, Daniil Chuprin, was born in 2002 in a small town in Ukraine called Kaniv. Although I am a programmer, as a student I started studying linguistics by myself and wrote a lot of articles about the origin of words and letters.

Later I started to make videos about this topic, and in 2025 I have decided to make my own website.

Why did I decide to make a website?

Because on the website is my linguistic course - "Lingvoas". In this course you can discover where Latin, Arabic and Russian alphabets come from, what is Mutation of sounds, Meaning of Arabic names and lots of other information.

Unfortunately, this course is available only in Russian, but later it will be available in English too.

But not only course...

I am a leader of spelling reform projects - for German, Polish and English. European alphabets are not perfekt, and I want to fix it.

My hobby - traveling

All photos on this page I took by yourself, during my travels to Berlin, Dresden and Leipzig. I have been to more than 35 German cities, and even the fact that I had to sleep on the train stations didn't stop me.

Sports

I love them just as much as traveling. Although I am not a master of sports, I have my own track records:

  1. I biked 85 kilometers in a day;

  2. I ran 8 kilometers without stopping to rest;

  3. I did 130 push-ups at a time;

  4. I train my shoulders with 32.5 kg dumbbells;

  5. I can walk on my hands.

In Support of Universal Standards

I believe that the world should adopt right-hand traffic, the metric system, and Type C and F power outlets (the ones used in Europe).

This should have been done a long time ago, but no agreement was reached — and as a result, we’re now facing problems that could have been avoided:

  • A driver from one country, say Germany, could get into an accident in the UK simply because he confused the lane directions.

  • Travelers often have to buy adapters, since plugs are designed for one socket type, while other countries use a different one. And it's not just between countries! Even within the same country — like Vietnam — there can be multiple standards. Absurd!

  • I heard that the Mars Climate Orbiter mission failed due to a mismatch in measurement systems during data transmission (NASA used the metric system, while the contractor used the imperial system).

    Had everyone been using the metric system, the mission might have succeeded.

Let’s establish an unified system!

I am for cleanliness and order!

That is why I pick up trash walking the streets.

It is not my trash, but it is my planet!
